Dalton Wins Best Large Delegation at Harvard Model UN
The Dalton School achieved many honors when it attended the 2015 Harvard Model United Nations conference (HMUN), held in Boston from January 29 through February 1. Students engaged in simulations of UN debate surrounding international topics ranging from nuclear proliferation, the plight of refugees, and the global status of women. Dalton alums/Harvard students Abby Kasdin '14, Timothy Doner '14, Sam Stone '14 and Rachel Orol '11 were in attendance to cheer them on.
At closing ceremonies, Dalton was honored to receive the award for Best Large Delegation from a pool of over 150 schools from around the world. Many Dalton students also received individual awards, acknowledging their extraordinary promise as scholars and researchers capable of addressing these important issues.
