Dalton Chess Tigers are New York State Champions
The Dalton Tiger Chess Team romped again at the New York State Chess Championships in Saratoga Springs this past weekend. Our K-1 and Elementary teams won first place and our Primary and Junior High teams each came in second, giving Dalton the best overall performance of any team in the state. Third grader Nate Shuman also played at such a high level that he now qualifies for the World Youth Chess Championships to be held in Greece next fall.
