Robotics Wins Division in Pennsylvania and Moves on to World Championship
Two of Dalton's High School Robotics teams traveled to the FIRST Eastern Super-Regional Tournament in Pennsylvania to compete against 72 top teams from Maine to Virginia. Both Dalton teams performed well, winning many of their matches. One team, Atomic Theory, was selected to be in the top ranking alliance, and played fiercely to win their division.
This win was the biggest that the program has ever had and represents countless hours of hard work by many students over the past months.
Atomic Theory will move on to represent NYC at the World Championship competition in St. Louis. That competition celebrates engineering at the highest levels and includes only the top 2% of teams in the world.
