Dalton had a very successful first day at the IVY doubles tournament.
Playing in the A draw was Max Stossel and Ben Cirlin and Drew Frankel and Michael Pideret who were seeded #2.
Stossel and Cirlin played Trinity in the first round. Unfortunately they were unable to get there game together and lost 8-1.
Frankel and Pideret had better luck. Playing Fieldston in both there first and second rounds, the Dalton Boys have moved into the quarter finals.
In the B draw, #1 doubles of Jon Salik and Danny Kane won there first two matches. In the second match against Hackley, Dalton played their best tennis all season and defeated there opponents with style.
The number 2 doubles team of Will Roth and Sam Lichtenstein also played great tennis. Winning there first match against Riverdale with ease, they moved into there second match with great confidence. Unfortunately they played a very tough Horace Mann and were unable to continue on there winning streak.
