Down 13-3 in the second quarter, the team dug deep and found enough defensive intensity and key baskets to eek out a 26-22 win against the Garden School in Queens.  With four points to close the first half and 8 in each of the subsequent quarters, Dalton methodically worked themselves back into the game.  Rebecca Rubenstein, Janelle Bradley, Carolyn Mayer, Alex Diamond, Jane Goldstein, and Jess Stone all scored for the Tigers.  Strong defensive work was provided by Alexa Yurick, Ajee Shaeffer, Erica Klein, and Tolulope Edionwe.
The win clinches the first seed in the GISAL Middle School tournament, which begins Wednesday, February 14.
