House
Classroom head and associate teachers, better known as House Advisors and Associate Teachers respectively, teach many subjects in the First Program through grade five. They help students share, communicate and contribute to the classroom or House culture. Typical of classroom teachers in other independent schools, they expertly teach reading, writing, math, social studies and character building skills to prepare them for the rigors of the Middle and High Schools.
House Advisors communicate with parents twice per year through parent conferences and reports, more regularly though and web-based Bulletin Boards. The care for and nurture their students into becoming independent, academically-competent, supportive, collaborative and most importantly, good school citizens.
