Varsity Football won their opener over Harvey School

Varsity Football won their opener over Harvey School 30-8.  After stopping Harvey on their first drive on a Jake Horowitz interception, Dalton drove the field for the score on a 5 yard Andrew Dunn run.  Later in the first quarter, after Amadi Washington and Peter Vallimarescu tackled the ball carrier on a fourth and one situation, Andrew Dunn connected with Jared Palmer on a 47 yard half back option,.  Amadi Washington broke loose for an explosive 34 yard run in the second quarter and just before the half, quarterback Andrew Heinrich connected with Andrew Dunn for an 18 yard TD pass to close out the scoring.  The defense was led by James Kennedy and Greg Barton with 10 and 7 tackles respectively.
