The middle school White Baseball team won their second consecutive road game to start the season
The middle school White Baseball team won their second consecutive road game to start the season, topping Buckley by the score of 7-4.
Patience at the plate combined with a timely bases loaded single by Jared Mandelbaum gave the Tigers an early 5-0 lead. Strong pitching by Zach Rosh and two stellar players in center field by Elijah Connell kept the Tigers ahead by 3 with two innings to go. Zach Kotin did the rest, knocking in two runs with a single and then shutting down Buckley in his role as a relief pitcher.
The 2-0 Tigers look forward to games against Rodeph Sholom and Fieldston next week.
