The Dalton White Baseball team improved its record to 5-1
The Dalton White Baseball team improved its record to 5-1 with a 7-0 shutout over Collegiate on Randall's Island today.
The Tigers received phenomenal pitching from Zack Kotin, who threw 6 innings of 1-hit ball. Elijah Connell finished the game for the Tigers with a scoreless inning of his own. Dalton's pitchers were helped by stellar defense from Peter Lucido and Jack Zivitofsky, among others. The offense was led by Leo Kone (who hit the longest, loudest foul ball in recent memory) and Kotin, each of whom drove in multiple runs.
The Tigers look forward to their final 3 games of the season and hope to build on their winning record.
