Students Lead the Charge at Annual Bit by Bit Conference

For over a decade, The Dalton School and its students have organized the Bit by Bit conference, a long-running conference championing female representation in the technology industry.
This year, Tara Kamshad '24, Zoë Lester '24, and Uma Jeddy '24 led the charge, creating an affinity space focused on the ethics of Generative Artificial Intelligence. The empowering and well-attended event included a keynote from Sofia Garcia, founder of ArtXCode, a workshop by our own Dalton Computer Science Teacher Jessica Valarezo, a panel of AI experts, networking, and a lunch gathering.
