Mr. San Juan Takes His Class on a 360 VR Journey to Havana

Spanish teacher Carlos San Juan's Hispanic Cinema classes, along with other world language teachers, experienced a 360 virtual reality trip to Havana, Cuba using their phones, headphones and cardboard viewers to create an immersive 360-degree experience.
360 VR technology is becoming an essential tool in Dalton's World Language classrooms. So much so, that Mr. San Juan will join his colleagues Carmen Campos and Nancy D'Eclesiis to present their 360 VR at a conference in Italy, in November 2017. They also taking steps to encourage other teachers at Dalton to use this exciting immersive tool. 
 
You can enjoy the same experience at home by using your smartphone along with VR goggles, or a cardboard viewer, such as the ones that the NYTimes delivered to many subscribers last year.
